Trump takes jab at Kamala Harris during McDonald’s fry cook stint in Pennsylvania
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump briefly stepped into the role of a fry cook at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania on Sunday, taking the opportunity to mock his Democratic rival, Kamala Harris.
Trump quipped, “I’ve worked 15 minutes more than Kamala,” referring to Harris' claims of a middle-class background and past work at McDonald’s, which she often highlights in campaign ads and speeches. During his stop at the McDonald's in Feasterville-Trevose, Trump donned an apron and cooked french fries, following instructions from an employee.
The restaurant was closed to the public during his visit, and the people he served had been pre-screened by the US Secret Service and positioned before his arrival.
When asked about why he thinks Harris faked her McDonald claim, Trump responded, “Because she’s Lyin’ Kamala.”
