Former One Direction member Liam Payne dies at 31

Liam Payne, a former member of boyband ‘One Direction’, has died at the age of 31, after falling from the third-floor room balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Reuters reports quoting police there.
Payne died on Wednesday at a hotel on Costa Rica Street in the Palermo neighbourhood, according to a statement from the police provided to CNN. The police said they were called to the Hotel on Wednesday afternoon after receiving a 911 call about “an aggressive man who was possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol”. The police’s statement did not identify that person as Payne.
CNN notes that Payne was last seen in Argentina at former band member Niall Horan’s concert on October 2. The two had posted videos together and with fans.
